If you want to instruct the AI on how to address you, understand the purpose of your writing, or follow genre-specific instructions, the AI Chat Settings allow you to set up your preferences. Here’s how. Click the profile icon with your initial at the top right of your screen. In the drop-down menu, select AI Chat Settings. The AI Chat Settings box will appear:
You can add the name or nickname you would prefer to be called and select the type of writing you typically do. In the Instructions box, you can also specify the genre you typically write (such as romance, fantasy, non-fiction). You can also mention anything specific to your writing style that you want the AI to follow. For example, if you dislike adverbs, you can mention this in the instructions:
Once you have the instructions in place, the AI will use these preferences to guide its responses.
